A good quality drum and 3 bell antique music box made by L’Epee in Switzerland in c. 1890.

The musical movement plays a selection of 8 mainly popular tunes of the era with a nice, lively sound, as detailed on the original (and very attractive) tunesheet.

It sits within a fine quality inlaid rosewood case with a floral inlay motif to the lid, gilt carrying handles to the sides, and mouted on an ebonised plinth.
