A nice and scarce antique music box with bells and dancing dolls made by Jules Cuendet of St Croix, Switzerland in c. 1890.
The two original dancing dolls are positioned before the three bells, each of which are struck by colourful insect strikers.
The fully serviced movement also features a tune indiciator, relating to the 10 popular tunes that the music box plays as detailed on the original tunesheet.
It comes inside a rosewood cose with a music inlay to the lid and boxwood stringing.
