A lovely quality antique cylinder music box made by the firm of Conchon in Geneva, Switzerland in c. 1885.

The musical movement features an array of 9 bright and individually engraved bells, struck by a combination of strikers including 2 enamel bees and 2 enamel shields.

This music box plays a selection of 10 popular tunes of the era as detailed on the replacement tunesheet, and has a very jolly and lively sound, with the bells making a beautiful accompanying spectacle.

The case is a beautiful honey-coloured burr walnut with tulipwood banding to the lid, sides and front.

It has all been fully serviced and is in excellent condition, with a first-class sound.
