A very cute musical picture automaton probably made by Schoenhut in Austria in c. 1890. The picture features a group of three kittens and a larger cat playing a fiddle who each move the the music.

The musical movement plays one tune activated by a control on the side of the case, and is in good condition. The case is in original condition with some wear to the top and edges but in general in a decent state commensurate to its age. It is a very entertaining piece.
