Antique Two-per-turn Cylinder Music Box by Nicole Freres, c. 1875

This is a true treat for any music box lover - a wonderful, scarce fat cylinder two-per-turn box by Nicole Freres, playing eighteen operatic airs and marked no. 44175. The case is beautifully inlaid, has ormolu carrying handles, and even has the original key (a great rarity in itself!). This box has come straight out of a world-class private collection, and was fully restored about twenty years ago - it plays perfectly.
