Paillard Sublime Harmony Tremolo Music Box, c. 1885

A scarce Sublime Harmony Tremolo music box by Paillard c. 1885, with a 17” cylinder, tune indicator, and zither bar. It plays 8 tunes, five of which are quadrilles from Les Cloches de Corneville by Planquette. The sound is gorgeous as a tremolo box should be, and the case is rosewood with a lovely inlaid lid.
